AMH in PCOS: what your number means
AMH is often higher in PCOS because many small follicles produce AMH. It doesn’t reflect egg quality. Context (symptoms, cycles) matters more than any single number.

How to think about ranges
Ranges differ by lab. Broadly, AMH above ~5 ng/mL is common in PCOS; 1–5 may be seen with or without PCOS depending on the whole picture. AMH by itself doesn’t diagnose or rule out PCOS.
